Our traditional end of season Fun Day and Awards Barbecue will be held on Sunday 8th May (we have moved it back to avoid the Easter break). For those that have not experienced a fun day, here are a few details:

Timing: 9.30 - 11.30 am. Each age group's coaches run a fun activity for all of the Warriors who are arranged in mixed age teams. Points are gained by the teams at each age group station with Roger declaring the winning team at the end of the session. If previous years are anything to go by, our Warriors will have a whale of a time (mostly at the expense of the coaches and managers).

Warriors should participate in full kit as we will be taking team photos on the day.

You are free to return home for lunch before regathering in the afternoon for our club awards ceremony and pay-as-you-go BBQ and bar! All Warriors will receive a medal. The awards will start promptly at 3.00 pm with the U5s.  Again a fantastic afternoon for our Warriors.

All had a great time playing games such as ‘Run the Gauntlet’ and ‘Rugby Netball’. Team Wasps excelled at the Wheelbarrow Wanderers game, and team Stormer were great at the relay.

The mixed-age teams all worked really well together, but the final winners with a total of 44 points were the Molemen, led by Charlie and Luca. Just one point behind in joint second place was Raider Warriors, led by Arran, and All Stars led by Alec and Barney. The other teams all followed closely with just a few points in it.
