This is who we are, this is what we do

We have a core team who have been very successful, many of them growing up together through minis and into Youth. The players are introduced to league/cup style rugby which is played in line with the RFU's New Rules of Play.

We are now moving onwards and upwards and our core aims are:

    Progression of Skills
    Ensure a competitive, fun environment
Build a strong sense of teamship within the player groups
Build a strong sense of identity with Old WImbledonians RFC
Treat players, coaches, referees and parents with respect at all times
Recognise and celebrate successes in a positive, supportive environment (from a good pass to winning a tournament)

With that in mind Youth is all about maintaining skills progression and developing them over the year combined with lots of fitness and fun under the watchful eye of head coach - Sean Kelly.

We have a number of RFU Level 1 and 2 qualified coaches, first aiders and RFU qualified referees. We encourage parents to get involved, and will support those who want to take qualifications, so there are enough for all the players to have a great time. All first aiders, coaches and referees are CRB checked.

Training is 9.30am -11.30pm Sundays at our clubhouse on Coombe Lane, and we have fixtures throughout the season. We ask that all players register pitchside with the team manager.

Enthusiasm is as important as experience, and lack of school rugby is no barrier. Come along and see whether you like it (and us). Any specific questions about joining us, contact team manager James Hellings.
